The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse was founded in 1988 by the South Mississippi Exchange Club. Our mission statement is to prevent child abuse by improving the quality of life for all children and their families in the South Mississippi area through prevention, education, and intervention.
The Center currently has offices in Harrison, Hancock, Jackson, Stone, Perry, and Forrest counties. We offer programs that cover much of South Mississippi.

The Blue Ribbon Card Campaign for the month of April 2008 in participating schools in South Mississippi was a wonderful program. Students,Parents, Faculty , and Administrators of our Coast schools made our program very special. We want to send out a BIG THANK YOU to all who participated.
