Who can be a Mentor?
Are you:
- A good friend?
- A good listener?
- Willing to spend at least 4 hours per month for a minimum of one year; sharing your time changing a child's life?
- In possession of a valid driver's license?
- A car owner or have access to one with proper vehicle insurance?
- A social security card or passport?

Who can be a Mentee?
Are you:
- 4-18 years old?
- Do you reside in Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Forrest, or Lamar Counties?
- Are one or both of your parents/caregiver incarcerated under Federal or State jurisdiction?
- Will you commit to one year of mentoring?

FACTS:
A seminal study found that kids with Mentors are:
- 53% less likely to skip school
- 46% less likely to start using drugs
- 32% less likely to get in physical fights
- 27% less likely to start drinking
